Day 20 & 21 Zero days

All the trail rumors said the weather on the mountains was going to get really nasty. So Heads and Tails, Canadian Ben and myself went into Gatlinburg, TN.. This city was a real shocker to say the least. I heard it was touristy but I wasn't ready for what I saw. Our motel is awesome though! The Grand Prix only rents to hikers. It has a shamrock shaped pool that's empty. It reminded me of the pool in National Lampoons Summer Vacation!!! Only no swans. After following the weather for a while, one day off quickly became two. Rain, sleet and lightning for a couple days. I'm going to have to man the hell up here quickly! No pain no rain no Maine as they say. Gatlinburg sucks!
